Cordelia Grimes, LCSW
Cordelia is a proud mom of two girls that continue to keep her on her toes. She has a passion for running and all things outdoors. She has over 12+ years of clinical experience providing evidence-based individual and group therapies for children, adolescents, young adults and adults in a variety of settings. She has completed extensive training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Exposure and Response Prevention, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, the Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics, and is certified in Trauma-informed CBT. In addition to utilizing these therapeutic models, she approaches her work and interactions with clients from a collaborative interdisciplinary framework and a predominately strengths-based lens that is both neuroscience-informed and developmentally-sensitive, allowing for an approach that fosters resilience and wellness within the children and adults she works with. She has a passion for research, psychoeducation, and public policy and has published articles and presented research and clinical work at numerous conferences and events. She continues to be involved in projects that strive to connect practice and research with policies, individuals, and communities.
