Meredith is a Master of Social Work student at Dominican University completing her clinical internship at Nurturing Village. She has experience supporting children and families across child welfare, school, community, and animal-assisted settings, with particular interests in foster care and adoption, neurodivergence, trauma, attachment, and emotional and behavioral regulation.

Meredith’s approach is relationship-based, trauma-informed, playful, and collaborative. She believes behavior is communication and that children do best when they feel safe, connected, and understood. She enjoys incorporating play, movement, sensory experiences, animals, and nature into her work and believes caregivers are an essential part of the therapeutic process.

As both a social worker and a parent in a foster/adoptive family, Meredith brings an understanding of the complexities families may face while navigating systems and supporting their children. She strives to create a space where children and caregivers feel accepted, supported, and genuinely known.

Outside of work and graduate school, Meredith can usually be found with her husband and five children, at the barn, reading a book, or spending time outside.
